The carnival « des Gras » in Douarnenez
Mardi Gras Carnival
A huge  carnival where most of the participants  (the towns inhabitants and fellow aficionados), get into costume and party throughout the town in the bars, cafés, restaurants and  on the  quayside.

During the week of shrew Tuesday (Mardi Gras).

La fête des Fleurs à la Torche (flower show)
Botanic

Every year, the fields in  Plomeur are awash with the colours of spring with stunning floral sculptures  representing some of the worlds most famous monuments. Among the species of flowers grown, there are tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, iris, anemones, dahlias and gladiolus.

Le Printemps de Châteauneuf-du-Faou
Celtic Folklore Festival
An important gathering of musicians and traditional singers. Over 40 groups of musicians and singers perform  non stop in a friendly and informal atmosphere, with  over 5 000 people of all generations who come together for 8 hours of musical pleasure and discovery in the Centre Finistère, Easter week-end.
